Cynthia D. Plymire was born in Kansas City, Kansas on April 22, 1966 and admitted to the bar in 1994. Ms. Plymire attended Middle Tennessee State University where she was the recipient of the Leadership Performance Scholarship for Academic Performance and an ACT/Service Merchandise Scholarship.  She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1988. While working as a claims adjuster, Ms. Plymire attended law school at night at the Nashville School of Law from 1990 to 1994, obtaining her law degree in 1994.
