Founded in 1998, LeVan, Sprader, Patton & Plymire is a full-service litigation and mediation services law firm located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. We are a boutique law firm providing high quality legal services to individuals and business entities, including more than 50 insurance companies. Our diverse group of attorneys are, and have historically been, recognized and regarded by our clients, our peers in the legal profession, and Judges, as highly competent, ethical, and dedicated in the protection and advancement of our clients’ interests.

The firm engages in a general civil practice, including handling of litigation in all State and Federal Courts. Our attorneys routinely defend cases involving a wide variety of claims against individuals and businesses:

Civil litigation is our focus. Our attorneys have tried cases before juries in thirty Tennessee counties. The firm’s trial work also includes bench trials before Judges in those same Tennessee counties. Additionally, the firm’s practice includes handling cases in the Appellate Courts. The firm members have made oral arguments before the Tennessee Court of Civil Appeals, as well as the Tennessee Supreme Court. However, our attorneys also understand that not every case is meant to be tried in a courtroom. The firms’ clients not only rely on our ability to conduct trials, but also utilize our experience and negotiation skills to resolve cases both before and after the filing of a lawsuit.

LeVan, Sprader, Patton & Plymire also provides alternative dispute resolution services to attorneys and their clients in Middle Tennessee. All of our partners have been requested to serve as mediators. Two of the firm’s partners are certified by the Tennessee Supreme Court as Rule 31 Civil Mediators and conduct a full-service mediation practice.
